CSC Pro Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sonkawade Labs collects, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes personal data processed through CSC Pro. It is intended to support Meta App Review for the WhatsApp Business Platform integration and to reflect applicable Indian privacy obligations.
1. Who We Are
CSC Pro is a Windows desktop SaaS product operated by Sonkawade Labs for Common Service Centre operators in Maharashtra, India. The software helps operators prepare, review, manage, and automate government application workflows, including submissions on public service portals.
2. What Data We Process
- Applicant and customer identity data such as name, phone number, address, date of birth, gender, and related application details.
- Government ID and document data, including Aadhaar-linked records, supporting documents, and uploaded images.
- Application workflow data, including form selections, eligibility details, OCR results, submission status, and audit logs.
- WhatsApp-related data, including phone numbers, message content, media attachments, delivery status updates, templates, and conversation history when WhatsApp workflows are enabled.
- Operator account and device data, including email, login events, device-binding identifiers, license status, and security logs.
3. How We Collect Data
- Directly from CSC operators using CSC Pro.
- From applicants or customers through documents, forms, or WhatsApp messages shared with an operator.
- From uploads, scans, OCR extraction, support requests, device security checks, and system logs.
- From service providers that support cloud storage, hosting, messaging, or application security.
4. How We Use Data
- To prepare, validate, manage, and submit government application workflows.
- To extract information from uploaded documents using OCR and workflow automation.
- To send service notifications to operators and their customers, including WhatsApp messages where enabled.
- To maintain account security, software licensing, device binding, fraud prevention, diagnostics, support, and service continuity.
- To maintain records required for billing, reconciliation, grievance handling, and legal compliance.
5. WhatsApp Business Platform Disclosure
CSC Pro uses the WhatsApp Business Platform as a Tech Provider integration to help CSC operators communicate with applicants and customers. When WhatsApp features are enabled, CSC Pro may process phone numbers, message content, document images, delivery status updates, template usage, and conversation history strictly for service communication and workflow support.
6. Storage and Security
CSC Pro stores data in encrypted local SQLite storage on the operator's Windows device and may also store or sync data in Supabase PostgreSQL and related cloud infrastructure used for service operation.
- We use reasonable safeguards such as access controls, encryption at rest where configured, environment-based credentials, device binding, and audit logging.
- Some processing may occur through third-party infrastructure such as Supabase, Railway-hosted services, Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, and related support providers.
- No method of storage or transmission is completely risk free. Operators remain responsible for securing their devices, credentials, and exported files.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We may share personal data only where reasonably necessary with:
- Government portals and authorities involved in the requested application workflow.
- Service providers such as Supabase, hosting providers, Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, storage providers, security providers, and support vendors acting for service delivery.
- Regulators, courts, law enforcement, or government bodies where disclosure is required by law or lawful order.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, account administration, operator support, security, audit, reconciliation, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
9. Data Deletion Instructions
A user, customer, or operator may request deletion of personal data associated with CSC Pro or WhatsApp communications by emailing sumitsonkawade07@gmail.com with the subject line "CSC Pro Data Deletion Request".
Please include, where available, the full name, mobile number, CSC operator name, application reference, and the WhatsApp number used for communication.
10. User Rights
- Access to a summary of personal data processed about them.
- Correction or updating of inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion or erasure of personal data, subject to lawful retention exceptions.
- Withdrawal of consent for future processing where consent is the basis.
- Information about the categories of third parties with whom data is shared.
- Grievance redressal for privacy concerns.
